do not try to be my friend solely for art/writing. i've had people do it before and it hurts every single time. once i stop giving them art, they go away. do not be this person. i can tell if you are and i will drop you like a fly if i catch those vibes from you.

while i love making friends, i will let you know now that i am unhealthily timid and greatly dislike the pleasantries of small talk though i understand it's purpose. i have a hard time reaching out but absolutely will endeavor to forego my comfort if you are the same. i am asking for the same treatment in return. that being said, i will never give you shit for not responding or not talking to me.

do not be weird towards alexois or take advantage of his personality without discussing it with me first. i know some people can get very weird when presented with a character that theirs can manipulate for some power trip. i don't want it unless we talk often and we vibe and come to a consensual agreement.

do feel free to interact with alexois if he notices your character doing something, though! chances are, he's incredibly interested in whatever your character is doing if it's mentioned in text, he just doesn't believe its his place to interfere or intervene in other people's affairs unless he's beckoned over.

personality. at first glance, he prefers silence rather than just speaking because he can. he observes, he listens, he analyzes and then he speaks. alexois says only what is required of him or what he feels as though is necessary in the moment. not more, not less. he seems serious, more than other people, especially when he's alone. preferring to take in the atmosphere of a place rather than force himself to intermingle within these groups, you'll find from far away, he has a look in his eye that seem to long for something he can't or doesn't possess.crack his shell and he becomes a timid and kind mess of a man, naive in social matters. he believes that everyone is inherently good, he believes that everyone has each other's best interests in mind. he tries to do what is best for people by being at their beck and call. he's willing to be subservient to those he trusts fully, without argument and without rebellion. it's the only way he knows how not to be punished, after all.he becomes more talkative in the presence of his employer, alexandre dufrene. mainly because he is pushed to talk to more people. while he doesn't mind, he may cling to his employer or hide from any strangers unless they're speaking to him or alexandre.

headcanon one: ishgard. the version of ishgard that alexois is written in is based off roman catholicism and hence, contains bigotry and the struggles of being lgbtqia+ in that setting. it is not made to be a point unless the topic shifts to it.
headcanon two. he fidgets a lot. mainly when he's feeling nervous or shy.
headcanon three. he always speaks quietly or mumbles what he says. this leaves him not seeming confident in most things. however, when it comes to doing his job, he speaks clearly and without confusion.headcanon four. he is a perfectionist in all things relating to his job. something is out of place? he knows it is out of place and hates it being so.
headcanon five. all of his positive emotions tend to be muted. in the past, if he showed happiness over something, it would quickly be dashed. so, unfortunately, he does not smile too often if he can help it.
headcanon six. alexois is very religious and believes that halone is the mightiest, as that was what he was taught and grown up to believe in. every sunday, he makes his way to saint reymanaud cathedral to pray and confess.

headcanon seven. he will ask for hot chocolate if it's on the menu but if it isn't, he is fine drinking nothing. it's rare that anyone gets to see him eat or drink anything unless it's hot chocolate.
headcanon eight. alexois looks up to the temple knights and the knights dragoon, he doesn't understand why he has a fascination with them.
headcanon nine. he is naturally naive and a bit sheltered when it comes to dealing with any social interaction other than ishgardian nobles. he's aware of the intricacies of nobility, anyone else? he doesn't have a clue.headcanon ten. he's deathly afraid of voidsent in general. more so than dragons.
headcanon eleven. it is incredibly easy to hurt his feelings with words alone but he does have the composure to not let it show unless it's very harsh or the person saying these things is someone he cares about.
headcanon twelve. alexois has come from house solainteau, his former master being valentin solainteau. he is notorious for enacting harsh punishments to his servants. alexois was lucky to be an elezen in that house but he was not absolved or forgotten in terms of abuse.

magical prowess. he is absolutely able to cast magic but hasn't realized his full potential of doing so. currently, he rests at 4/10.

if one peers at his aether, they will find that it flows like water. it's clear, it's pure and shines bright enough to be a source of warmth. the smell of it is fresh but sweet, much like fruit. the taste is much of the same.he is currently attempting to learn how to hone his white magic with more precision or using it to make healing salves for the future.

physical combat.

special weapons. he has no weapons other than a very loud scream and an occasional staff.
special items. he does, however, have sleeping potions, silencing potions and other small bottles that make sure his assailant isn't dead.
fighting style. he's ranged, for the most part, he doesn't like to be up close and personal.

alexois is actually quite terrified of fighting in general. he doesn't want to hurt people and doesn't want anyone to be hurt in general. he understands very well that sometimes it is necessary, but he can't justify it himself.that being said, alexois cannot fight at all. he is a healer first and foremost. his aether is trained to mend wounds for the most part. in any situation where it's fight or flight, he will always choose flight.
